A postcard from The Big Apple

Andreas Hoff and Lukas Lund have sent me this little pretty film about inspiration. They have been working at Ogilvy New York, since they finished their degree last summer. The film is part of the Ogilvy Inspiration Competition 2011, and if the boys get lots of view, they might get to go to Cannes with the rest of us. Woohoo!

Oh and the boys say hi, and promise to go full monty for some late night skinny dipping by the Majestic Beach, if they win the competition.

Future Lions Entries

Here’s some of this years Future Lions entries from our second and third year students. The Future Lions is a global student contest at the Cannes Lions Festival. The brief is to “Advertise a product from a global brand in a way thatcouldn’t have been done five years ago”. Last year one of our teams V+A won the competition. Fingers crossed for this year and best of luck to all teams :)

In no particular order, here’s Malene Lyngbæk Olsen & Line Lorentzen’s entry “Happy Feet”

CC11 Winners

Here’s a few pic from Friday’s big event – the Creative Circle Awards 2011. Rie Sloth Rasmussen from our first year and Kaspar Monberg from our third year were both up on stage picking up gold and a a ticket to Cannes in the Young Creative Circle Awards.

Here’s Rie with her team partner Line Johnson and presenter Hella Joof in front of their winning print ad. Well done girls!

Best of luck in Cannes to both teams!

Tough days

We have just finished our yearly Creative Communication admission test. Almost 400 people had applied with a pre-test and from them we chose 60 to come to a two day test at the school. It was amazing as always to see all that bubbling talent in the room. Unfortunately only 20 students will end up getting in – but we are very exited to see who!
